I recently entered several quilts into my local guild show.  I think the biggest reason I did this is because it makes me stop and quilt a few of my own tops.  I've had this top pieced for several months.  I planned it all a long time ago to see if I could use an echo and a background fill together.  I can, and did, and wanted to share the really fun part with everyone.  Here's a photo:
